*NEW* By far the OLDEST photo of the Barge we have seen - Mid 1950's - In the foreground is the Sea Wall under construction - the current wall was built around 1980 so this must be the wall built after the 1953 floods.

The Barge seems to have a full compliment of wooden slats - Thanks to Jim Gray for this shot!!
